Originally from France, Loïc arrived in Vanuatu as a young school teacher, intending to broaden his professional experience. Instead, he discovered a country, a culture and a community that inspired him to build his life in the South Pacific. Decades later, Vanuatu remains his home, and he has played an active role in its economic development ever since.
As Managing Director of Caillard & Kaddour, Loïc has transformed the company into one of Vanuatu's leading and most respected real estate groups. Under his leadership, the business has continually evolved, embracing innovation while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and client service. Today, the wider Caillard & Kaddour group provides employment to more than 70 people, making it one of the country's significant private-sector employers.
Beyond real estate, Loïc has always believed that successful businesses have a responsibility to contribute to the wider community. Over the years he has supported numerous charitable, educational and sporting initiatives. He has maintained strong ties with the Lycée Français de Port Vila, has long been involved with local communities throughout Vanuatu, and has dedicated considerable time to organisations that promote tourism, business and sport. He currently serves as Chairman of the Vanuatu Hotel & Resort Association (VHRA) and President of the Vanuatu Golf Association (VGA), reflecting his commitment to helping shape the country's future.
Family remains at the centre of Loïc's life. Although his professional commitments are extensive, he values the time spent with those closest to him. His greatest moments of relaxation are often the simplest: sharing a meal with family, reading a good book, enjoying the ocean, or spending time on one of Vanuatu's beautiful beaches. These moments provide the balance that allows him to continue leading with energy, optimism and purpose.
